How did NEEK come about and who is behind it? 🌈🫶🏼

Hello, my dears!

I'm Nadja, the founder and designer of NEEK – and sewing has always been my biggest dream. For me, fashion isn't just about clothes; it's about expression, creativity, and the joy of life. Every piece I create on my sewing machine is a piece of this dream.

I've been living in Berlin, arguably the coolest and most fashionable city in the world, for almost four years now. Living here has taught me a lot, and I probably would never have dared to turn my passion for fashion and sewing into a career if I hadn't moved here...

I actually come from a small village in Rhineland-Palatinate. Life there is cozy and close to nature – yet often quite monotonous. My colorful, sometimes quirky style didn't always fit in. But that's precisely what made me strong and independent.

Because I learned early on: Fashion isn't just clothing. It's an expression—of courage, of creativity, of identity. It's a language with which we can express ourselves without saying a word. And even though not everyone liked my style, I knew: I'm going my own way, and at the end of the day, that has to make me happy and no one else!

Today, I'm in the middle of my fashion design training at the Berlin Fashion School! It's intense, sometimes overwhelming—but above all, incredibly fulfilling. At the same time, with this collection, I've taken the step of founding my own label, with which I want to showcase my very own signature: colorful, bold, playful, and full of life. For everyone who dares to be different—or simply enjoys color. 🌈🌞🌺

The fact that I can now give something I once only dreamed of a chance makes me infinitely grateful. And I'm thrilled to take you along on this journey—with my designs, my thoughts, and a whole lot of passion. ❤️
